Biokontroll Hungária Nonprofit Ltd. has been inspecting and certifying organic farmers and the supply chain actors in Hungary for more than 20 years. The products we produce are also controlled and certified by Biokontroll Hungária.
About Us
Our main profile is the production of high quality organic rice, mainly for use in children’s nutrition, but of course in other areas of the food industry the product is also suitable.
Our product even exceeds the requirements for organic food at several points.
Our sole purchaser, through a sub-contactor, was the german Hipp factory until spring 2019, after which our farm sells the rice products independently, implementing the ‘direct from the grower’ direction.
With these guidelines in mind, even the necessary seed is produced within the farm.
Our farm is fully controlled by Biokontroll.
In addition to the production of bio-rice, we produce a number of bio-certified crops, which are adapted to market requirements and production conditions every year.
Our products include:
organic rice, organic cereals (durum, spelled), organic corn, organic sunflower
Organic rice
Our family farm produces only the Hungarian-bred M-488 from rice, because of its nutritional and cooking properties make it ideal for baby food. This type of rice makes it possible to obtain a higher quality end product in smaller quantities than other varieties. Last but not least, this type of rice tastes particularly delicious, but of course it is a subjective opinion, make sure you personally.
Protein source
One of the great benefits of rice is its high protein content, making it one of the most excellent sources of protein besides meat.
Rich in minerals
It contains mainly iron, phosphorus and magnesium. It also contains calcium, potassium and sodium.
Cholesterol-friendly
Rice is cholesterol-free, making it one of the best foods for those who have a problem with their cholesterol.
